I have edited over thirty indie horror novels. I also beta and arc read, leaving honest, constructive reviews on multiple websites and Facebook pages.
I use the Chicago Manual of Style for my style guide. I use the Merriam-Webster dictionary for US-based clients and the Cambridge dictionary for clients based outside of the US.
Fairy Tale by Stephen King
- I can't believe I sat on this one for so long. It's so very good. It's everything a fairy tale should be. Not everything is perfect, the stars don't exactly align (or the moons), it's hard times.
4/5
Carry Me to My Grave by Christopher Golden
- A unique take on witchcraft and vampires, this book had me hooked from the start.
4/5
The Bargain by Eric Butler
- A cross between a Greek tragedy and a Grimm fairy tale, but done Butler style. A beautiful woman, a sentient vine hedge, a lot of death.
I think this is my favorite Butler book so far.
